Danielle was absolutely lovely, it was pouring down with rain and she came to fix my headlight and then the other one went out as well and no questions asked, she sorted that one out as well. Really friendly. As a young girl it’s sometimes a bit intimidating going to get anything on the car fixed as I’m clueless but I felt so comfortable!

Steve at Ashbourne was so helpful finding a wiper blade to fit our car, whereas at Burton on Trent Halfords my husband was just told a point blank 'No, we don't stock those' Thank you so much Ashbourne.

I went in for a battery Simon was on the counter he was brilliant he did everything and more than what I could ask for a brillant lad and extremely good at his job

Great bloke who put a new battery in for me cant remember his name unfortunately but the battery was a pig to remove and he didnt give up. At one point I thought it was going to have to go the the garage, but in the end he found a way to do it cannot fault him. 5 stars

Ordered a replacement mirror for my car and went to collect as planned...the mirror hadn't arrived a bit of a pain but not the end of the world. Rich was extremely helpful and as usual friendly. Unfortunately his co-worker wasn't, rude and the most unhelpful, unpleasant person I've met in a while, I'm always prepared to understand that we don't know what goes on in people's lives but in a public facing role you need to be at least professional.

Couldn’t be more impressed with the customer service from Halfords this week. I turned up 20 minutes before closing time with a dead start/stop battery in the car. Although I was told that these take much longer to fit than normal batteries, both Richard and Carter who were on shift dropped everything to find a suitable replacement, and then fitted it in just 10 minutes, in the pouring rain. They both went above and beyond to help me out and I can’t thank them enough. Fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable team, I don’t think I would’ve had that much luck at a garage! Thank you again

Terrible treatment today from Ashbourne Halford.headlight bulb replacement. So rude and made me feel I'll. Very complicated as I had receit from bulbs that where under guarantee. Never going to that store again. Booked online they where surprised that I was there,not expecting me. Horrible day ruined my weekend.

Don’t book a dashcam fitting here. Loads of availability online but the store phoned back twice to rebook in the same day as no one available to fit (sounds like the only person who can works limited hours). I asked them not to cancel my order since I wanted to rebook through their central customer service at a different store, but they just completely ignored me and refunded me anyway. Now I have to wait for money to go back into my account by which time the 10% online offer probably won’t still be running.
