Beautiful decorations and amazing staff.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic service from Preston’s Home & Lifestyle! My order arrived incredibly well packaged — you can tell real care went into making sure everything was protected. Communication from the staff was excellent throughout, and they were so helpful and friendly. I’m really impressed and will definitely be buying from them again. Highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning shop! Preston’s Home & Lifestyle in Ashbourne is an absolute gem. The staff are so friendly and genuinely helpful, and the shop itself is just beautiful. Their Christmas theme rooms are honestly some of the most amazing displays I’ve ever seen – high-end, luxurious, and easily on par with places like Selfridges. I would 100% buy from them again. A must-visit! 🎄✨

SHOCKING customer service! Total scam selling shoddy goods. 100% markup on shipping fee aswell so beware! Purchased an item @ £81 (£20 odd in postage which no way it cost that much for them) only for it to arrive with multiple dents & damage. Emailed multiple times to no avail. Most ignored. Phoned & to accept 60% off £81 to save anymore hassle. Which is £48.57.. Only received £36 so called back to ask where the remaining amount was they made an excuse after agreeing £48.57 would be refunded that it was on the item only & refused to refund remainder. I told them I’d just like to send back. They told me I could send back via Royal Mail I told them item Is too big they won’t accept. It would need to be a collection. Was then told they’d contact Royal Mail to organise this and would call back. Heard nothing. Contacted them again to chase up. Told the woman organising has went off sick. She’ll call back on Monday. Just received a phone call there from a very unprofessional woman named Chris. She has broken uk consumer law by now backtracking & is refusing to collect item. Her attitude was appalling talking over me & seemed extremely irrate. When I asked them to collect the item and complete the refund as agreed, she claimed I had “given up my rights” by accepting a partial refund. Under UK consumer law, this is not correct—partial refunds do not waive your legal rights, and faulty items must be fully refunded if the agreed terms are not met with seller bearing all shipping costs. I would like to caution all others in shopping with this small company. Blocking emails doesn’t change the fact you are breaking the law. You should not have to pay extra to return a faulty item, and the seller cannot refuse collection without a valid reason.They’ve been reported to trading standards & will be going through chargeback process with bank. Avoid at all costs!

Visited with my mum and granny, we had the loveliest experience in both the shop and coffee shop. So many lovely Christmas things to purchase and the cakes and drinks were delicious. Thank you so much to all the staff for your hospitality, it really was a lovely experience, we are already planning our next visit.

My wife and I love this shop. Everything is of a high quality, very reasonably priced and beautifully presented. We have made a number of visits, including two in the last few days to purchase items from their wonderful Christmas display. The staff are lovely. They are always on hand to offer constructive advice and ideas if you need help, but otherwise leave you to browse in peace. A visit to their most attractive, adjacent coffee shop is the icing on the cake!

Went to the shop to look at a Swyft sofa in real life. Sofa was great, owner was really helpful and full of advice on personal experience. Decor inspired me on how to decorate my own room and left me wanting far more than the sofa. Great store, well curated, will hopefully visit again soon.

One of my favourite shops!!! The service here is nothing more than exceptional. They are always so helpful and if you're looking for something specific, they'll even try and help by going online to see if they can get it in stock for you. The products are great and my home is filled with them - from sofas and sideboards to room diffusers and faux flowers / plants. Not to mention you can grab a lovely coffee from their cafe next door too. I often combine a yummy brunch at their cafe with a visit to the homewares shop.
